Can't recommend highly enough. Super fast turn around, received my documents 2 days earlier than expected and paid literally less than half than the competition quoted me for. Thank you, I will return.

Technical and Specialist Translation
Specialised translation for the Cambodian language is often required in sectors like healthcare and education, where professional registration is key. Translators must navigate specific technical terminology and understand the unique requirements for accrediting qualifications from Cambodia within Australian professional bodies. Script conversion and ensuring correct encoding are also critical technical considerations for these documents.
Translation Challenges
Converting between English and Cambodian involves more than just word-for-word substitution. Significant grammatical structure differences, including verb conjugation and sentence order, require careful adaptation. Furthermore, the Khmer script itself, with its unique character forms and vowel diacritics, presents a visual challenge distinct from Latin-based scripts. Capturing the appropriate levels of formality, crucial in Cambodian culture, also demands specialised linguistic skill.
Our translators are experts in navigating these complexities, delivering accurate certified translations for all Cambodian documents.
The Cambodian Language
Cambodian (Khmer), is the language of the Khmer people and the official language of Cambodia. It is the second most widely spoken Austroasiatic language (after Vietnamese), with speakers in the tens of millions. Khmer has been considerably influenced by Sanskrit and Pali, especially in the royal and religious registers, through the vehicles of Hinduism and Buddhism. It is also the earliest recorded and earliest written language of the Mon–Khmer family, predating Mon and by a significant margin Vietnamese. The Cambodian (Khmer) language has influenced, and also been influenced by, Thai, Lao, Vietnamese and Cham, all of which, due to geographical proximity and long-term cultural contact, form a sprachbund in peninsular Southeast Asia. The Cambodian (Khmer) language is written with an abugida known in Khmer as âksâr khmêr.
